Learn how to capture the recording of your program

Using RevDeBug is as simple as using a remote control.
One thing you obviously need is a C# or Visual Basic project. If you want sample project for getting started you can clone our Tutorial Project.
To start recording, simply click on REC button .Be sure, that power button is green . Red one means, that recording is turned off.
You can also start recording from RevDeBug Control Panel.
Your application will be built with RevDeBug Compiler. If current solution is compiled with RevDeBug for the first time RevDeBug Configurator will be displayed.
In this window, you can: * choose whether your recording should be saved ("File") or not ("In Memory") * change the destination of your recordings * choose which projects to record
If you want to change some of this options later, this window can be opened manually through RevDeBug Menu (RevDeBug > Recording Options). Lastly, rebuild your application and perform any actions you want to be recorded.
The default path for recording files is
Pause and stop your recording
You can stop your recording either by closing your application or by using the REC button . The recording will be loaded automatically into VS IDE.
Pausing the recording is only available, if you choose In Memory as your Recording Storage Type. You can change this option in RevDeBug Configurator. In this mode, at the bottom of the Control Panel you can find two buttons.
The second one informs you, if your application is beeing recorded , or not
